Fazila Farhad is currently the Managing Director Ramada Hotel & Suites Sydney Cabramatta (a part of the Wyndham Hotel Group), previously branded as ibis styles and part of the Accor group. After graduation from University College London (UCL), she started her banking career at Standard chartered bank and rose to the position of head of Private Banking. She brings with her a wealth of experience in hospitality, business development, marketing and banking built up while working with brands like Crowne Plaza, Accor Hotels, Dupont & Standard Chartered Bank, rising to her current position as Managing director Ramada Hotels & suites by Wyndham.
Fazila has been an active community supporter for South West Sydney and is Vice president of South West Sydney Tourism Taskforce, Liquor Accord Fairfield Cabramatta ,and Vice President of Cabramatta Chamber of Commerce .During her tenure, the hotel has sponsored Educational & Charity events for Liverpool Hospital /Ingham institute /Fairfield Hospital ,National Breast Cancer Foundation ,Western Sydney University, Liverpool police officer, Celebrated 125 years of Cabramatta & various other local charities in Liverpool and Fairfield . Her passion for tourism and hospitality has driven her to actively work with the board of South West Sydney Tourism Taskforce, federal & local bodies and businesses to put together the first Tourism Map for Fairfield & Liverpool which will be distributed locally and internationally, therefore laying the founding steps for tourism that will be generated by the new Western Sydney Airport coming up.
When Fazila was asked what she hoped to achieve while on the board she said “Engage with businesses and community, service their needs with a view to make Liverpool a strong business, investment and growth region well prepared for the upcoming western Sydney airport”.
