13 Billion dollars’ worth of infrastructure has been committed to Liverpool and will be constructed over the next decade. This means there will be hundreds of new businesses setting up in our great region with the opportunity to employ local talent. A great opportunity for more business owners to be heard and get involved with the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
We recently had the Liverpool Small Business Awards for 2017 and our very own Mr Adam Anderson won “Business Person of the Year” Adam is not only an active member of our community, he’s also been instrumental in the success with our chamber over the last 12 month. We acknowledge and thank Adam for his hard work and dedication to both the Community and Business Chamber.
We have a very exciting event coming up. September 14th we’ll be holding our Keystone Event at the Holiday Inn, Warwick Farm. We have a very special guest speaker, Mr Craig James who will be discussing “Economy 2017 – Stronger or Weaker”
Craig’s current role is Chief Economist, CommSec, interpreting ‘big picture’ economic and financial trends for customers, clients and staff. As well as providing presentations to staff and clients and commentaries on financial and economic trends, he appears regularly in the electronic and print media. Craig has worked in banking, finance and journalism for 37 years.
He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Commerce (Economics). Both degrees were undertaken at University of NSW. To say Craig is a wealth of knowledge is an understatement.
