Dimitri started his hospitality career back in 1999 in stewarding then moving into the food and beverage department where he found his love and passion for the hospitality industry, which he still proclaims is the best industry in the world. Dimitri completing a traineeship, and graduating from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School where he then went on to work for Starwood Hotels. Dimitri played a major role in pre-opening The Darling Hotel at The Star, after that he joined Oscars group in 2013 as the General Manager and started the transformation from The Sunnybrook Hotel to the now fabulous Holiday Inn Warwick Farm, which was The Oscars group’s first of several Hotel purchases.
Dimitri said it is an exciting time to be on the Chamber to help drive growth into the local business community. Dimitris plan is to increase the awareness of the importance of the chamber and the role it plays in connecting business together and to work closely with local businesses and council to establish a great business community.
Dimitri has grown up in Western Sydney and has been conducting business in Liverpool for over 6 years, he said it’s an exciting time to be positioned here and has seen many great changes over the years and is looking forward to the future and bringing businesses together
